US sets shrimp duties

"THE ERA of free trade in the world's most important seafood and aquaculture product has come to a close" is how FFI shrimp columnist Charles Woodhouse this month describes the US Department of Commerce's setting last month of provisional anti-dumping duties on exporters of shrimp to the US from Brazil, China, Ecuador, India, Thailand and Vietnam.
