Norwegian producer Midt-Norsk Havbruk plans to use new technology from the Central Norwegian Fisheries Institute to remotely feed fish at its Icelandic subsidiary.

"Everything is being prepared for feeding from Rorvik [Norway]," Roar Myhre, CEO of Midt-Norsk Havbruk owner, NTS, told IntraFish sister publication Tekfisk.

"During the fall we will do tests and ensure that the connections are good enough, with an aim to begin feeding in January 2019."

From their control room in Rorvik they have a full overview of what is happening on farms in Iceland through the use of cameras, data and various sensors.
