New Zealand's Marlborough District Council and the Ministry for Primary Industries will set up a committee to consider options to implement the Best Management Practice Guidelines for Salmon Farming in the Marlborough Sounds, reports Scoop Business.
The Marlborough Sounds Salmon Working Group will meet starting in July and provide recommendations on implementing the guidelines, developed by local and central government, as well as industry experts and scientists in 2014.
