Norwegian company Nordic Aquafarms is steadily making progress in itsplans to build one of the world’s largest land-based salmon farms in Belfast, Maine.
The Belfast city council proposed zoning changes Tuesday to the Little River Project Site for Nordic Aquafarms to allow a fish farm and processing as well as set limits on the building and property, according to Free Press.
About 15 people commented during the public comment with more written comments submitted, according to the news site.
