SPANISH shipyard M. Cies is building the stern trawling fillet factory ship Egunabar (C0092) with a full specification despite the ending of fishing vessel grants by the EU.
M. Ceis estimates that her owner Miguel Iriondo of a Pesquara Laurak Bat of Spain is having to pay an additional 30 to 35% because new vessel building grants have been cut.
Egunabar will be delivered by the Vigo-based shipyard in May 2006 to fish in northern waters.
She will be 47.75 metres long, with a beam of 10.5
