WENGER Manufacturing Inc late last month acquired the machinery division of fellow US-based extruder manufacturer Extru-Tech Inc. Both maintain corporate offices and production plants in Sabetha, Kansas.
LaVon Wenger, Wenger's chairman and chief executive officer, confirmed that it is Wenger's plan to keep the Extru-Tech name and integrate, where practical, Extru-Tech's existing operations with its own.
Each company will continue to market and sell its own line of equipment under their Wenger and Extru-Tech brand names.
Corporate offices and production facilities of both companies will remain in Sabetha.
