The seafood arm of Estonian food company PR Foods has established a joint venture with the parent company of one of Estonia's biggest fishing companies to set up an "environment-friendly" offshore fish farm.
PR Foods' Saaremere Kala will team with OÜ Tallinna Lihatööstus, a subsidiary of AS Direct Consulting and parent of AS Hiiu Kalur, one of Estonia's biggest fishing companies and port operators with a share in seven fish processing plants. have concluded a letter of intent for establishing a joint undertaking to set up a joint offshore fish farm.
