DSM NUTRITIONAL products has opened a new feed premix facility in Gebze, Turkey.
The state-of-the-art facility is 60km from Istanbul.
"This new facility in Gebze sets a new standard for premixing in Turkey and has the capacity to produce approximately 12,000 tonnes of vitamins and mineral premixes a year, mainly for the Turkish and Azerbaijan feed industries, " DSM says.
The facility will meet the stringent industry demands for quality by ISO certification and includes systems to monitor full product traceability.
The new production facility with integrated process control, bar coding and cross-contamination checks and on-site analytical laboratory will monitor quality aspects, provide analytical services and meet growing customer needs for quality premixes.
