The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration has closed a fish farm after tests found positive cases of infectious hematopoietic necrosis (IHN). The farm is located near Varde on Jutland.

The institute of aquatic research, DTU Aqua, reported the finding, and the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration has placed the fish farm under public supervision.

This means that fish, fry and equipment may not be moved either to or from the company without the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration's permission.
