ONE OF SPAIN'S biggest marine fish farmers is getting bigger - and last month acquired at least 810 tonnes extra seabass and seabream production capacity by spending around ?2.5m on buying producer Blue & Green from Niordseas.
Described as a "persistently profitable producer of high quality Spanish seabass and seabream, " Culmarex SA, part of the Norway-based Marine Farms group, continues to seek volume growth.
Blue & Green is based some 80km from Culmarex `s administrative, sales and processing/packing facilities in Aguilas on Spain's Mediterranean coast.
