OYSTEIN STEIRO resigned from his position as CEO of Norwegian aquaculture firm Codfarmers last month, with the chairman of the board ready to take a more “active” role in company affairs.
Following the resignation, chairman of the board Harald Dahl will be involved in the day-to-day running of the firm for the next six months due to “challenges facing the company and the cod farming industry,” the company said.
Steiro informed the board of directors of his decision following three years with the company.
