US-based agri-giant Cargill reported a fish oil spill on May 9 from a valve in a pump room in its EWOS salmon feed facility in Floro, Norway, the company told IntraFish.

Around 10 to 12 cubic meters of fish oil spilled into the sea as a result, a Cargill spokesperson told IntraFish.

The leakage stopped on Saturday evening and the oil was cleaned up from the sea over the weekend.
