Brazilian agro-industrial giant C.Vale is hiring more than 150 workers at its at Palotina plant in Paraná state in southern Brazil.

The new intake of workers is the first step in an ambitious 30-year plan aimed at processing 1.6 million fish per day, eventually putting it on a par with chicken production.

Details of the hiring spree outlined in an advertisement published on social media were confirmed by a company spokesperson. Work is being advertised for production assistants, operators as well as quality analysts and maintenance staff.
