FEEDS manufacturer BioMar has invested in machinery and expertise for its Scottish operations run from its headquarters at Grangemouth, near Edinburgh.
As well as just reopening its factory following £2 million worth of improvements, BioMar has made two appointments: Jim Davis as manufacturing director at Grangemouth, and Irene Tait, as field technical adviser based in Shetland.
Davis is responsible for manufacturing operations, managing the business through its current expansion at the Grangemouth plant.
His background is in manufacturing and has worked with UK giants Unilever, Paterson Arran and McCormick Food Group.
