SCHERING-PLOUGH has received approval in Chile for its innovative AquaVac IPN Oral vaccine for farm raised salmon - the only oral vaccine available for infectious pancreatic necrosis.
The vaccine provides a "highly effective and easy way for fish farmers to prevent infectious pancreatic necrosis (IPN) and cut losses from the viral disease", says the company.
