A THIRD trawler for operators in the Faroe Islands has been delivered by the Osey shipyard in Iceland.
She is the new steelhulled Dyrindal built for owner Pall Klettskard of Haraldsund, who is replacing a wooden boat.
The new trawler measures 19.40 metres overall, has a beam of five metres and is based on a hull constructed in Poland and brought to Iceland for fitting out.
Dyrindal features a bulbous bow and a shelterdeck which runs from the wheelhouse for practically the full length of the deck.
