The Pakistani government recommended five more seafood exporting companies to the European Union (EU) in a bid to lift the ban on exports.
An EU delegation is currently in Pakistan to assess the available seafood stocks and Islamabad has short-listed the names of five more local exporters to undergo the EU's quality standards test for the lifting of ban, reported The Business Recorder.
Two exporters already have got the nod from the EU for the export of seafood products to the European market.
