SeaPak Morey's -- part of the Rich Products group -- has added Alaska-caught flounder to its range of seafood products as part of a drive to expand its brand presence and introduce consumers to new species and flavors.

In a category with hardly any competition for the species, the company will present its new flavored, ready-to-cook flounder item to retailers across the United States. The group has already seen early success at club stores.

Executives said adding the flounder is a natural line extension for Morey's and its brand overall as the company looks to expand pre-crafted marinades across different species of fish.
