Russian Fishery Company (RFC), one of the world's largest pollock producers, is expanding production at its processing plant in Primorye in the Russian Far East with plans to grow its presence in the Russian retail segment and begin exports to Europe, replacing much of its unprocessed exports to China for reprocessing.

“Moving away from raw material exports is not only a solution to today's problem related to the closure of Chinese ports for fish products," said Degtyarenko.
