The International Pacific Halibut Commission (IPHC) finalized the commercial harvest limits for the prized flatfish on Friday, agreeing to a slight increase in total allowable catch.*

The limit for commercial harvest of Pacific halibut in 2021 was set at 25.7 million pounds, or around 3 million metric tons higher than in 2020.

Last year, catch limits were set at 22.23
