The ubiquitous US convenience store chain 7-Eleven has launched a new Alaska pollock item thanks to funding from the Association of Genuine Alaska Pollock Producers (GAPP).

Seattle-based Trident Seafoods, one of the world's largest pollock processors, is supplying 7-Eleven with the product -- Wild Alaskan Pollock Fish Bites -- made with deepskin Alaska pollock block.

The pollock fish bites are being featured for Lent at 7-Eleven.
