Norwegian politicians have coming out swinging against the government after recent figures from Norway's Raw Fish Association (Raafisklaget) showed Russian trawlers have landed well over 90,000 metric tons of fish worth NOK 1.5 billion (€154.9 million/$154.5 million) in Norway so far this year, despite the ongoing war in Ukraine.

"This shows what the Liberal Party has warned against for a long time: While the EU's sanctions tighten the grip on the Russian economy, Norway's exemption does the opposite," Liberal leader Guri Melby told IntraFish sister publication Fiskeribladet.
