Norway-based cod farmer Norcod is expanding its management team as it continues to support the company's growth.

Norcod CFO Kia Zadegan is moving to the role of COO, but will remain CFO as well until a replacement is found.

Zadegan has been at Norcod since May 2021. However, much of the work he has done has been within areas normally connected to the COO position.

The process of finding a new CFO is underway.

During 2023, Norcod anticipates a total of six million cod fry to leave its hatchery facilities and enter fish farms at sea at four different sites across Norwegian fjords.

Earlier this year, Norcod appointed new board members as it prepares to migrate from the Euronext Growth market to the main Oslo Stock Exchange.
