Via Ocean, the former owner of vessels used by French canner Saupiquet, has taken delivery of the Via Alize, a 67-meter tuna seiner.
The vessel designed for ocean-bound tuna fishing expeditions was supplied by Piriou's Vietnamese shipyard, the ninth such vessel to be built there.
Via Ocean's tuna seine fleet, previously known as Armement Saupiquet, now has four tuna fishing vessels.
