Norwegian salmon exports in January were worth NOK 6.8 billion (€670.8 million/$737.9 million), up by 21 percent compared to the same period last year.

According to a report by the Norwegian Seafood Council, this is a "historically high" for the month, thanks to demand for Norwegian salmon increasing in all regions coupled with a boost in prices.
