Norway hits record salmon export volumes as prices sink to four-year low

Norwegian salmon exports soared to an all-time monthly high in August, but the surge in supply pushed prices down to their lowest level since 2021.

While overall export volume growth was 17 percent in August, shipments to Asia rose 44 percent and to Eastern Europe 46 percent.
