Robert DeHaan, the vice president for government affairs at the National Fisheries Institute (NFI) has been appointed to to the US Agricultural Technical Advisory Committee that covers trade in animal products.

US Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue and US Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer announced the appointment Friday for DeHaan, where he will serve on a committee to provide advice to the government on trade policy matters, including the operation of existing trade agreements and the negotiation of new ones.
