The Scottish seafood sector is facing millions of pounds in losses following the closure of the French border at the weekend.
In response to new lockdown in the United Kingdom -- brought about by the discovery of a new variant of the COVID-19 virus and a spike in cases -- France is banning freight and travel from the UK for at least 48 hours.
