Lithuania's Viciunai Group, one of the largest seafood companies in eastern Europe and one of the world's biggest surimi producers, is carefully examining ties with Russia and making drastic changes to its supply chain, according to Lithuanian news sites.

CEO Sarunas Matijosaitis has not commented on specific decisions, but claims the company is making changes and would be concentrating on maintaining its share of business in the west.

"The situation is deteriorating rapidly every day, a critical point has been reached," said the company in a press release.
