Ecuador's global shrimp exports reached their third-highest monthly total of 184 million pounds in March, a 34 percent year-over-year increase, helped by recovering orders from China, its largest market.
Shipments were just 4 million pounds shy of the 188-million-pound monthly record set in November.
In the opening quarter of this year, Ecuador's global shipments were up 44 percent from a year earlier at 526 million pounds
