Chile's farmed salmon exports spring back to pre-pandemic levels as retail continues winning streak

Chilean salmon industry executives are upbeat on prospects for exports to key markets in the United States and Brazil in 2022.

"We think that demand, especially from retail, is very dynamic," said Arturo Clement, president of salmon industry trade body SalmonChile.

Salmon exports to the US market rose nearly 8 percent last year to 239,276 metric tons.
