Australian shrimp farmer Seafarms inked a deal to supply Dutch-based distributor Primstar from its Project Sea Dragon facility, the company announced to investors on Jan. 21.

The agreement between the two parties will take shape once Project Sea Dragon becomes operational. As part of the deal, Primstar agreed to import and market Seafarms' black tiger shrimp products into the European market.

The Dutch company agreed to take about 15 percent of the total annual production of the initial stages of Project Sea Dragon at market price, however, the volumes can be negotiated.
