Akva sees no impact from US sanctions on Iran

Aquaculture equpiment supplier Akva sees no significant direct impact from US sanctions on Iran, CFO Simon Martinsen told IntraFish.

The United States struck Iran in the early hours of Jan. 3 leading to the death of Iranian Major-General Qassem Soleimani.

Iran then hit back at United States and coalition military positions in Iraq as a counterattack.

On Jan. 9, US President Donald Trump announced sanctions have increased on Iran following the missile strike, but gave no additional information. The Treasury Department will make a statement on the increase in sanctions.
