Norwegian salmon farmer SalmoNor has applied to convert licenses for its semi-closed farming concept "Aquatraz" into standard farming licenses.

SalmoNor is the third company to apply for such a license conversion as part of the Norwegian government's incentive for salmon farmers to design and build innovative concepts to address the biggest issues impacting the sustainability of the industry, from sea lice to disease to effluent discharge.
