Land-based salmon farmer Salmon Evolution has chosen Norway-based Laksesytemer as its "smart" feeding supplier for its 36,000-metric-ton facility on Norway's west coast.
Laksesystemer develops automated tank feeders, camera systems and silo systems aimed at regulating feed volumes.
Though no figure was disclosed, Laksesystemer General Manager Ole Gabriel Kverneland said the contract was "huge" for the young company.
Laksesystemer has revenues of NOK 1 billion (€96 million/$116 million).
