SalMar's cage was supposed to be escape-proof; So why are salmon escaping?

A crack in a net led to an unknown number of fish escaping from the cage, which contained around 700,000 salmon ready for harvest. This is the second time in two years that salmon have escaped from the cage.

This is what the cage looked like before it was equipped, lowered and put on site. The cage was built in China and equipped in Norway.
