Mowi, the world's largest salmon farmer, has developed a new five-year strategy focused on higher investment in digitalization and automation as part of its efforts to grow, the company announced during its Capital Markets Day on Wednesday.
The program, Mowi 4.0, will be implemented throughout the supply chain and includes a "Smart Farming" concept, which will be implemented across the company's sites by 2025 in a bid to become less labor-intensive and more efficient.
