Aquaculture genetics, health and nutrition firm Benchmark's first CleanTreat vessel arrived into Norwegian waters on July 31, ahead of its first commercial deployment.
It marks a major milestone in the use of Benchmark’s much touted new sea lice treatment, Ectosan Vet, following full regulatory approval in Norway last month.
Ectosan Vet -- product code name BMK08 – will be used in conjunction with CleanTreat, a water purification system that removes medicines from treatment water before safely returning cleaned water to the sea.
