Newly appointed Akva CEO Knut Nesse has been putting out fires since he took a permanent position at the aquaculture technology company in December 2019, but the industry veteran is still optimistic about the potential of land-based aquaculture.
"I think land-based is part of the future within aquaculture, I sincerely believe so. Although we have some bad financial numbers from old land-based projects, I'm personally a very big believer [in the segment] going forward," Nesse told IntraFish.
