Aquaculture equipment supplier Akva Group's technical team found the root cause of last week's system shut-down and is now working to restore the IT systems, the company announced in a stock exchange announcement.
Akva was hacked by a group on Jan. 10 asking for a ransom to unlock its computer systems.
The company and its subsidiaries are now operational online but will continue to operate manually for a period despite restarting the IT systems.
