Aquaculture technology group Aquabyte was attacked by hackers, the company said Wednesday.
The group, which among other things uses its machine learning systems to count sea lice on farmed salmon, said Thursday there was no loss of customer data and the system is back online.
Aquabyte Norway CEO Hans Runshaug apologized for any impact the cyber attack had on customers.
"Cyber attacks have unfortunately become an increasing problem in society in both Norway and internationally," he said.
