Australian investment heavyweight Tattarang Agrifood -- owned by mining magnate Andrew "Twiggy" Forrest -- more than doubled its stake in Huon Aquaculture on Wednesday, less than a week after meat-processing behemoth JBS made a AUD 425 million (€266 million/$314 million) offer for the salmon farmer.

In an accompanying video statement, Forrest said he wanted to send a message to JBS and Huon, in a bid to force the Brazilian group to commit to more sustainable practices.
