Bakkafrost-owned the Scottish Salmon Company (SSC) became the first European salmon producer to acquire the Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA) four-star Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) stamp.
Four stars is the highest level in the BAP third-party certification program, which indicates that the entire operation from feed mill, hatchery, farm to processing comply with BAP's standards.
