Scotland plans initiative to unlock value from seafood waste

The initiative is inspired by the Iceland Ocean Cluster, which has created value from under-utilized marine resources.

Subject to funding, the would-be cluster’s first focus would be to increase the value of fish side streams, making use of biotech expertise to create, for example, nutritional supplements.
