Pure Salmon, one of the first land-based salmon farmers to get ASC nod

Land-based salmon farmer Pure Salmon received the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) nod for responsible fish farming for its Poland facility,

The company is one of the first land-based salmon farmers to become ASC certified.

Pure Salmon Poland is co-owned by Israel-based aquaculture supplier AquaMaof and private equity fund 8F Asset Management.

8F’s Pure Salmon has been announcing a series of investments towards land-based projects for the past couple of years.

The project in Poland serves as a proof-of-concept facility for what 8F Asset Management is trying to achieve, while coupling as a research and development facility for AquaMaof.
