Norway's cod suppliers lose customers over missing Marine Stewardship Council eco-label

One of Europe's largest suppliers has lost customers in major markets such as Germany, France, the United Kingdom and Sweden.

"The disappearance of MSC has cost us money, and it has cost the fishermen money," said Morten Jensen, CEO of Insula-owned Norwegian whitefish supplier Nordic Group at the recent Seafood Expo in Barcelona.
