Icelandic salmon farmer Arnarlax received the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) certification for its Hringsdalur site, the company announced Jan. 13.

The independent third-party certification is valid until January 2023. Chain of Custody certification is required at the point where salmon are delivered to the processing plant.

The salmon farmer listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange's off-exchange trading list (NOTC) on Nov. 15 under the ticket ALAX. It also posted positive earnings in its third quarter report, driven by better biological performance and operational improvements.
