BioMar commits to zero carbon emission by 2050

Greenhouse gas emissions need to halve by 2030 and reach net-zero by 2050 to avoid the worst effects of climate change, according to the United Nations.

As aquaculture feed represents around 80 percent of the carbon footprint of fish farming, it is essential that BioMar accelerates its drive towards net-zero, BioMar’s Global Sustainability Director Vidar Gundersen said.
