Japanese and Singaporean deep-tech company Umitron has launched an initiative in Japan aimed at encouraging consumers to be more in touch with the way seafood is produced.

"Umi to Sachi", which roughly translated means "Sea to Good Food" was kicked off in Japan via a crowdfunding campaign held in collboration with Chefs of the Blue, an advocacy group comprising top chefs across Japan working together to raise consumer awareness about sustainable seafood in the country.
