A NEW multihead weigher has been designed for factories packing small bags of product, such as IQF shellfish.
The high-speed combination weigher from Multipond is smaller than its previous counterparts, but is claimed to offer increased output and is capable of reaching speeds of up to 430 bags/weighs per minute.
The MP28-400/400-A has reduced size hoppers (0.4 litres), and has the ability to deposit target weights as small as 0.3g, meaning that it is also suitable for dried fish powders or other lightweight ingredients.
